Why we charge

PRINT accepts no advertising. No sponsored content. No brand partnerships. The magazine is funded entirely by the people who read it. If you subscribe, you are funding independent journalism directly. There is no other way for this magazine to exist.

We keep the price low because we believe the people who most need independent journalism are not always the people who can afford premium subscriptions. If the subscription cost is a barrier, write to us at subscribe@printmag.org. We offer a limited number of reduced-rate subscriptions to readers on fixed income, social assistance, or in financial hardship. No documentation required. Your word is enough.

How it works

Email subscribe@printmag.org with your mailing address and the subscription type you want. We will invoice you by email and begin your subscription with the next issue. We mail within Canada by standard post. International subscriptions are available at cost plus shipping.

We do not share subscriber information with anyone. Your name and address are used only to mail you the magazine.

Institutional subscriptions

Libraries, community legal clinics, community health centres, and public institutions may subscribe at the individual print rate. We offer bulk rates for orders of five or more copies per issue. Write to subscribe@printmag.org with your institution's name and the number of copies you need.
